Travelodge Birmingham Oldbury

Although it's on the busy Wolverhampton Road the hotel itself is very quiet as it's tucked away off behind a petrol station and a veterinary surgery. It's two storey but there's no lift. Confectionery vending machine in reception but there's a convenience store with the garage. KFC is 100 yards up the road but there's supermarkets within easy reach and other fast food outlets.

I would have given this five star but : My room's shower has a stain on the bathroom curtain that looks like chocolate or poo. Overall the room was in excellent condition, the staff were very friendly and kind and the location is near a petrol station

I was going to another hotel at the time,then a phone call changed my plans fully booked thank you no names ...so there was no other choice when I arrive the manager Julia could seeing was in a pickle I'd payed on my card for the other place so have to wait for a refund .anyway all I had was cash and even thou they prefer card payments she got me sorted in 5 minutes what a manager you are thank you ...my room was spotless bed was made who said out have to make your own ⁉along with 2large fluffy white towels and 2 hand towels ..my better have joined me later she said my name at the desk I think it was alicza that knocked.my door to tell me Jo was here service or what now we're both tea drinkers I asked if it was possible to get more pg tea single sachets sugar and milk when I went down stairs the manager Julia had already got the tea supplys together what a team you have a real credit to you the next day I asked for clean sheets and towels we went out for a walk came back half an hour later expecting to have to wait while the room is finished ...your rooms ready Tia the housemaid the room was spotless all the bins cleaned and beds and towels like we had just checked in how friendlyand professional you all are I nearly forgot Lili may who was on mornings very helpful always got a smile for you ...we've been to the Travelodge 4 times so far and too be honest 2 star hotel pffff 3 going on a 4in our eyes keep doing what your doing hater will always hate perfect rooms great location and top class service don't believe some of the rubbish reviews go see for your self ....from lee and Jo (doesn't like Joanne but hey ho )⭐5 stars Julia and staff deserve a raise the service and stay we had was just the ticket...see you all soon

had a great stay at the Travelodge Oldbury! The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The staff were really friendly and helpful throughout my stay, making me feel very welcome. Check-in was quick and easy, and the hotel was quiet, allowing for a good night’s sleep. Overall, a very pleasant experience — I would definitely stay here again. Thank you to the team for making my stay so enjoyable!

Oldbury Travelodge is ideal for us. We have family in the area and this location is great for getting out and about. It's also ideal because we bring our dog with us and Bury Hill Park is 5 minutes walk away. We've now stayed here twice as it suits are needs. Staff are friendly and helpful and rooms are clean, what more do you need?

We had a great stay at Travelodge with the family. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious enough for all of us. The staff were very friendly and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The location was convenient, and everything we needed was close by. A really good experience for families—would definitely stay again!

I stayed here on Thursday night for 1 night i got up Friday morning to bad snow. I would really like to thank julie the manager and her colleague Julie they both went above and beyond for me on the Friday. They both cleared my car of the snow and then dug it out so I could drive my car out. 2 exceptionally nice ladies couldn't do enough for me wouldn't let me help at all. Well done ladies and a massive thank you. Will definitely stay there again. Lynda crook.
